KARLA GUERRERO

Hello! I am an illustrator and designer based in Detroit, Michigan. I created PAO with the intention of spreading love and joy through the doodles that I’ve always found myself making. Throughout my journey, I’ve often felt like the seemingly sad, mundane moments were unique to me. However as I’ve listened and exchanged stories with others, I’ve realized we are more similar to each other than I thought. The realization I had was warm and fuzzy because I was comforted and embraced by our oneness. All of a sudden my perspective changed and these mundane moments not only began to stand out to me but I began to love them–they were not so sad anymore.

 

My goal is to bring the same understanding to you, to remind you that you’re not alone in this journey and to remind you of the beauty found in these often overlooked everyday moments. I hope these little teddies bring you as much joy as they’ve brought me while creating them!
