Hi! I’m an illustrator and designer in SE Michigan—so glad you’ve found your way here :)

 

I used to feel like Joe from Soul—sad, stuck, and convinced my life was meaningless unless something big happened. Then one day, I caught myself daydreaming about the little things and began doodling a teddy bear named Pao doing them. It was my way of practicing gratitude without even realizing it.

I romanticized his tiny life—Pao walking in the rain, moongazing, lying in flowers—and suddenly I thought, wait... why is it cute when he does it, but not when I do?

That was my shift: I’m just like him. A tiny human, already special, already enough.

 

Doodling Pao made me fall in love with the little moments. Life is special because it just is. You don’t have to look for it—you just have to look at it. 

 

My hope is that Pao reminds you to see the beauty in what were once often overlooked moments in your life. I hope he stays with you wherever you go.
